Little gift bags

It has been proved, that not only what we give as a present, but also how we give it and the way we prepare present to give (the way we wrap and pack it) does matter. For both: the person who gives and - especially - the one who receives present.

I am not going to talk here (at least not now) about what to give or how to do this, but I would like to call your attention for a moment on how we wrap and pack presents.

No matter how small or big the present is - you can always make a nice wrapping for it.

Today, I would like to present to you little bags, for a very small gifts. But you can easily make medium and even big bags as well, just by using these as an example.

Bags you can see on pictures are quite small, and measure 7 x 10 cm. I made them specially for very small gifts. Actually I use bags of this size to give little candies, but you can use them to give any kind of gift that you can fit in it.

And if you think about it, the bag itself is a kind of gift.

You can make bags like these for practically every occasions. Use the same template to make a bag, and just change decoration to match the occasion. And it is it. Simple.

I recommend to experiment with size, colour and of course decoration in the center of the bag so you can come up with different layers. Perhaps you can make bags that match present you put inside. It is all up to you.

For decorations on my little bags, I used stamps from the sets you can find in Stampin' Up! Spring Mini Catalogue - A Beautiful Thing, and - one of my favourite in this mini catalogue - Sweet Serendipity. If you think about buying any product from this mini catalogue - keep in mind: it is available only till 30/11/2008. For the pink bag I used stamp from hostess stamp set Party Punch.

Coming back to our little bags - if you feel like - you can put a little gift card inside the bag.

What else I can say? Just use your imagination and be creative :)

And don't forget to have fun as well :)

If you would like me to show you how to make such bags - I will be more than happy to do this :) Just let me know: gabriela.jandura@gmail.com .

Happy crafting!
